Barricades

Typically made of plastic or metal and equipped with reflective sheeting, barricades are ideal for short-term use in construction zones, road closures, and pedestrian detours. Barriers
Barriers provide a more robust form of traffic separation and protection than barricades. These include concrete barriers (such as Jersey barriers), water-filled barriers, and steel barriers, all designed to prevent vehicle intrusion into work zones or opposing traffic lanes. Barriers are critical for high-speed environments and long-term projects, offering both physical protection and visual guidance. Their use helps reduce crash severity and protect workers and equipment from errant vehicles.
End Treatments
End treatments are safety devices installed at the ends of barriers to absorb impact energy and reduce the risk of injury during a collision. These systems are engineered to decelerate vehicles safely and redirect them away from hazards. End treatments may include crash cushions, impact attenuators, or tapered barrier designs, depending on the site requirements. Proper installation and maintenance of end treatments are vital to ensure they perform effectively in real-world conditions.
